Voluntary Translators

We are currently translating websites mainly in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. We shall increase the number of languages in the future.

Requirements

In principle it would be better if the translators were professionals or translators or language students; great if they can work with translation tools such as Trados or Wordfast and perfect if they also have a knowledge of HTML. Nevertheless, in this case, any person with a sufficiently sound knowledge of their own and a foreign language will be welcome.

For those who want to send us an e-mail directly, the information that we need above all is:

• The languages in which you can translate
• Your areas of speciality
• The type of project that interests you (optional)

If there’s anything that you want to say to us in a message, go ahead.
 
Some reasons to become a voluntary translator

1. In the first place, and above all, a voluntary translator can feel the satisfaction of having done something for others and can publish their work.
2. If you need it (and really need it), as compensation you will receive a professional web page free of charge. More information can be found in the web page of our collaborators  Van3 - web design (the web is not yet complete, but at our request they have posted a file containing the information).
3. We shall display the name of the voluntary translator next to a link to the translated web page in a list, which we shall publish on our web page.
4. If you wish, after passing the necessary selection tests, you will be offered the opportunity to work with our agency on paid professional jobs.
5. Naturally, if you’ve spent little time in the translation world and have questions, we shall try to help you with great pleasure with your doubts.
